I’m so excited to share this beautiful floral Spring home tour with you guys today!
Hey friends!
I’m so glad you’re here to join me for this fun home tour!
As the seasons change, one of my favorite things about it is the opportunity to redecorate my home to reflect that change.
As always, I’ll start the tour off with the front porch.
Spring Front Porch
I love using wreaths on our front door for charm and to make the porch feel inviting.
I used my DIY Hydrangea Wreath (you only need three items to make it)!
This time I added the florals all around, and I love how it looks against the pretty blue door.
That vintage chair was a garage sale find for $5. I repainted the seat and legs white to better reflect my style.
The hanging lantern and large standing lantern are also from garage sales, and the small lantern from Dollorama.
Front Entrance
This is the corner I usually decorate for different seasons in our entry.
I love flowers and I thought using them throughout the house for spring was perfect.
I actually got this beautiful bouquet from my husband’s company where he works.
My husband is a trucker and as a Thank You for hitting a million miles, they threw a celebratory bash for the truckers and gave their spouses and significant others a bouquet of flowers.
I thought it was a special touch and you better believe I took advantage of them, taking photos in lots of places while I could!
The banner above the table is a thrifted find, and the “Hello” sign is from Winners – one of my favorite places to browse and shop for home decor items!
Floral Stems For the Mantel
I love decorating the mantel!
These curated glass bottles, jars and vases just made the whole process even more fun since I’d been collecting them for awhile for this specific spring season.
A lot of the items you see here are thrifted or have been gifted to me:
- Mirrors
- Floral prints
- Small pot and greenery resting on the book
- Books
- Basket
- Faux fur blanket
As for the rest:
- Wreath – Simple DIY Project
- Florals – Walmart and Dollorama
- Throw Pillow – Costco
- Vases, jars and bottles – Home Sense, Winners, Superstore, antique shops
Decorating doesn’t have to be expensive. You can find so many amazing things at thrift stores or garage sales.
The key is not to give up, to keep looking even when you don’t aways find something. (Also, to buy things you love, not like; aka only half-love).
Flowers in the Bedroom
Next, we come to our bedroom.
I always like to point out that I don’t actually leave this tray here, it’s purely for decorating and styling purposes. 😉
However, I love the touch it adds.
I decided to bring in another blue vase or bottle and added these gorgeous faux flowers to them.
The way the stems play off of the colors on the wreath, let’s just say it makes my heart happy. 🙂
This tray is a staple in my home!
It was the first tray I ever bought (I actually only have two as of right now). When I saw it at Gordmans I just couldn’t leave it because it was exactly my style!
The checkered pillow covers are from IKEA – they have so many options for pillow covers and they’re super affordable too!
The Hangout Spot: Our Sunroom
We spend a lot of time in here and I love bringing in things from nature.
I used this floral arrangement in here once again and I think it adds a beautiful touch.
This bunny was a find from Winners a few years ago. I love to bring him out every spring season.
As you can see, I used florals in various ways:
- Wreath
- Stems in vases and bottles
- Bouquets
You can’t go wrong with flowers in my eyes.
I hope you enjoyed this Flora Spring Home Tour friends!
