This year I decided to create a fun project using a Christmas gift bag!

Last year I ended up buying a gift bag that I wasn’t planning on actually using for gifting.
I loved the moose design and thought it would work well for a DIY project of some kind.
So I gathered up a few supplies and got started on making a sign!
- Gift bag
- 3D Stickers
- Wood board
- Stain
- Glue gun
- White acrylic paint
- Paint brush
The first thing I did was stain the wood board – I got the board at Dollorama, along with the “Merry Christmas” stickers!
Meanwhile as the stain was drying, I began to cut out the moose design from the bag.
Once that was done, I hot glued the design in place on the dry board.
The next day, I painted the sticker letters white using the white acrylic paint from Dollorama.
I did three coats, and then I removed the stickers and adhered them to the board, underneath the moose cutout.
I love how it turned out!
So simple and pretty at the same time.
Have you ever created something out of a gift bag?
They can be used for all kinds of fun projects!
