Today I’m sharing my Cozy Christmas Home Tour, and I hope it inspires you along the way!
Do you get all excited about Christmas like I do? Of course you do, right?!
I absolutely love this time of year. The atmosphere, shopping, baking, movies, creating new traditions and memories with loved ones – it really is magical!
And, let’s not forget, the decorating. This is one of the most fun parts for me.
The Porch Decked Out For Christmas
When my eyes landed on these Norfolk trees at Walmart while Christmas shopping, I knew they would work well on our front porch.
They just provide that true Christmas vibe with the beautiful green branches.
I used the lanterns once again – both were thrifted finds and have become a staple in this area.
The first few Christmases my husband and I had together, I used a wreath I found at a thrift store. This year, however, I was in search of a beautiful flocked wreath for the front porch.
When I saw it amongst all the other wreaths in the aisle, I knew this was the one.
It was absolutely stunning, the subtlety of the flocked snow and the pinecones was the perfect combination!
Cozy Christmas Entryway
I think it’s safe to say that the “star” of the entryway is the gorgeous “Joy” sign.
I found it at a local Christmas market and knew this was the place for it.
Adding in some natural elements like the log piece and earthy tones gave this space a nice cozy feel.
Staining this table has been on my to-do list for years, but I didn’t get to it this summer. Maybe next year?
Christmas Fireplace and Mantel Tour
My starting point for the fireplace was the white and rose gold garland that I found at Winners during last year’s Boxing Week sales.
When I think about it, that was the catalyst for my rose gold tree as well.
I incorporated other touches of golds as well, like the chalk board sign base and the two deer on the hearth.
I found the mirror on Varage sale and the wooden church was also a Boxing Week purchase from several years ago.
Isn’t the rose gold on that garland so stunning?! I can’t get over it.
The gray stockings were also a beautiful addition to this fireplace – nothings says cozy Christmas like soft, sweater-like stockings!
Cozy Christmas Bedroom Decor
Next up we have our bedroom.
I can honestly say I’m not a huge fan of the red accent wall, but I do loooove that DIY tree banner I created for the headboard!
The year my husband and I were getting married, we decided to start painting this bedroom so that it would be ready for when I would move in with all my stuff afterward.
To tell you the truth, I had no idea what kind of colors I liked – I barely knew how to use a paint roller either. It was quite comical, according to my husband.
And I believe him. 😉
I would never choose a red for walls now, but it’s fun to look back and see that I at least know more of what I like and don’t like.
Everyone loves these Mr. Right and Mrs. Always Right pillows, and so do I! They add a fun touch of personality to the space.
Join Me For Part 2 of this Cozy Christmas Home Tour
I was going to include our sunroom in this portion of the tour as well, but since there are so many photos I decided to split the tour into two.
I would love for you to check out my Cozy Christmas Home Tour Part 2 here!
It’s my favorite room in the house and it includes my favorite Christmas tree that I’ve done to date.
Thank you so much for joining me on this virtual home tour friend! It was a lot of fun to put together and I hope you found some ideas and inspiration from it.
See you in my sunroom shortly? 😉
