Create your Own DIY Hydrangea Wreath using only three materials!
This spring I was in search of a pretty wreath to use in my home.
Then one day, I came across a pin on Pinterest that changed my wreath-making idea forever (if only I could remember who’s it was so I could link them).
They only used three items.
The most impressive and surprising part of it all?
Using floral garland!
DIY Hydrangea Wreath
I was stunned – like how had I never thought to use a garland? You can buy them so cheap at dollar stores or even on sale at Michael’s.
I still had a few garlands left over from our wedding, so I decided to use those for this project.

Items Needed for Your Wreath
- Grapevine wreath (or any wreath of your choice).
- Floral garland, any color or style you prefer or have handy.
- Zip ties.
I know I shared a very similar tutorial for you guys with the Sunflower Wreath I did last fall, but I loved the use of garland even more. It’s so simple and easy!
You insert your zip ties around the grapevine and attach it to your garland.
Once you have enough zip ties in place, cut off the excess using a scissor.
Don’t you just love simple DIY projects?
I can’t get enough! There’s something about quick, simple and inexpensive projects that just get all the heart eyes from me.
