I’m so excited to share my Fall Porch Reveal with you guys today!
This year, I did not spend $24 on a pumpkin. (Amateur fail).
But I did drive down some muddy gravel roads for something you’ll discover further along this tour. 😉
As I usually do, I like to start off on our front porch so you get to have that true experience of that “panoramic view.”
I had this buffalo check doormat for awhile already (from Amazon) and wanted to do a layered look that I love. I didn’t want to buy a new coir doormat though.
Lucky me, one day I found a simple mat at a thrift store and added my own “Pumpkin Spice” to it with a paint pen.
It’s not perfect, but I love the simple look against the brighter colors of the pumpkins.

The corn stalks weren’t quite dry yet but I needed those photos done. 😉
The mum works so nicely in that crate from Walmart – I Love To Decorate With Crates Outdoors!
My sister-in-law was kind enough to let me take home a whole bunch of pumpkins from her garden this year.
I was so thankful and excited and brainstorming all the ways I could style these on my porch.
I decided I wanted to create a “waterfall” effect coming down from the bales. I love how it turned out, with the galvanized bucket acting as a perfect anchor for the piece.
Isn’t this sign fun?! I found it at Gordman’s last year and love the way the blue matches the paint of our front door.
Back to the bales for a moment:
Yes, so I drove about three miles down a muddy gravel road to a farmer’s place and got these two straw bales.
I think he thought I was crazy for loading them up in the back of my Ford Edge (he loaded them), but they managed to fit and it all worked out.
It cost me an hour at the carwash, but so worth it.
Spoiler alert: I used this same wreath last year on my front porch for Fall (it’s a thrifted find), except this time I added some buffalo check ribbon to give it some flair and a fun new twist.
I wanted the cream of the hydrangeas to play off of the white mums – so happy with how full these got!
I seriously love the mix of mums, bales and pumpkins – the essentials for any Fall porch reveal!
Realistically I would’ve liked to have smaller bales, but this is what I got and I was glad to at least have found those.
